Villa Om Villa Om

Villa Om is a peaceful oasis hidden in the heart of the Oberoi Villas area on Bali's south-western coast; twenty five minutes drive from the airport, and convenient for all of the main shops, tourist attractions and vibrant nightspots.

Villa Om

The villa is just a few minutes walk from a wide choice of internationally acclaimed restaurants, such as the famous KuDéTa and La Lucciola, and only 300 metres from the magnificent Seminyak beach, renowned for its world-class surf breaks, panoramic coastline views and legendary sunsets.

The colonial-style Villa Om boasts a 10-metre lap pool within a large, private walled garden, and is unusually spacious for a two bedroom property. It has been lovingly furnished with Indonesian antiques, designer fabrics, local artefacts and striking paintings by Pablo Gentile and other artists. Cooled by gentle breezes and ceiling fans, the sizeable open-air living and dining area has been designed to maximise the garden frontage and incorporates different areas for different functions. It is furnished with cushioned antique daybeds and a marble-topped circular table, and complemented by a wall of orchids, birds-nest ferns and traditional ritual masks. A fully equipped open-plan kitchen with oven is located at one side, flanked by a built-in breakfast bar.
An additional guest bathroom is also located on the ground floor with washbasin and toilet.

A solid wooden staircase leads up to the master bedroom, which covers the whole of the upstairs floor. This romantic bedroom is furnished with a canopied four poster double bed, twin wardrobes with mirrors on the insides of the doors, and a desk with Broadband Internet access. The windows feature wooden shutters and are hung with exquisite full length drapes. For the comfort of the guests the room is fitted with double air-conditioning units, two ceiling fans and a safety box; a partition wall behind the bed creates a private dressing area. A set of stained glass and timber doors lead into the en-suite open-air bathroom, complete with rainshower, bathtub, marble washstand, pebbled floor and art- deco stained glass windows. A raised platform within the bedroom creates a separate, cosy TV/DVD lounge area with a comfortable sofa and an ornately carved fretwork window panel. A splendid verandah-style balcony, running the length of the front wall, overhangs the garden and is a great location for breakfast, or for relaxing on the antique daybed with delightful views of the garden and beyond.

The garden is perfect for small functions, and is characterised by smooth flat lawns, lush palms, frangipani trees, lotus tubs, serene Buddha statues and a flame tree. The swimming pool is bordered by white Palimanan stone and lined with green Java stone; top-of-the-range sunloungers rest on one side and are shaded by an Oriental umbrella. A relaxation pavilion known as a ‘Balé Bengong’ completes the picture.
